At 22 years young, “Little Wolf” Park Jeong-Eun sees her dream come true: a match with her idol Ham Seo-Hee. Park will be the third challenger for Ham's Atomweight title at ROAD FC 051 XX on this coming Saturday, December 15, 2018.

Park is now 4-4-1 in her professional MMA career which has included some very tough matches against the top opponents in Asia. She has never been finished, even when facing the likes of Emi Fujino, former DEEP Women's Lightweight Champion Hisae Watanabe, former DEEP Jewels Atomweight Champion Mina Kurobe, and current DEEP Jewels Atomweight Champion Tomo Maesawa.

Now Park will face the number one women's atomweight fighter in the world. She said she has waited for a confrontation with Ham since she started MMA,

“Ham Seo-Hee is my hero. Before I even made my professional debut, I learned by watching her videos. So far, all of the matches I've had were preparations to fight her. I thought I could be the only opponent for Ham in Korea, and I hoped that ROAD FC would stick with me after all.”

Park has the dream of almost all women atomweights right in front of her eyes, so she could not hide their excitement when she was given the title challenge,

“As soon as I received the chance to fight for the title, I knew my time had finally come. It's an honor to have a title fight with someone I respect so much.”

ROAD FC CEO Kim Dae-Hwan explained how Park came to be chosen as Ham's opponent,

“When we were looking for Ham Seo-Hee's next challenger, of course we looked internationally. Then someone said 'Why can't it be a Korean fighter?' I have been watching many of the atomweights and in my mind I thought they weren't ready yet. But we kept up with the discussion, and decided that Park Jeong-Eun was up to the task.”

Park knows that there will be people who might not think she deserves this chance, and she keeps a very mature outlook about it,

“There are people who support me, and I know there are a lot of people who think the opposite. But at least there is interest in me, and because of this fight, it's increased. As a professional fighter, that feels good.”

Park has shown her ability in all areas of MMA skills, and she has a great deal of power and heart. She shares what will be her best expectations in this match,

Of course, I'm training to avoid losing in any area. I'm proud to say that my youth is my greatest strength against her. And I'm really confident of my striking. I'm not saying that grappling isn't fun, but I think the fans will be curious to see us trade punches. I will try my best against her.”

Even though Ham is Park's idol and the toughest opponent she has ever faced, Park relishes this opportunity,

I want to experience how strong the first place fighter in the world is, but at the same time, I have a fight to fight, and I plan on showing how good my punches are. Actually, I'm worried for her! I believe in myself. Unconditionally, I will fight to win because I believe I can.”

To the ROAD FC fans, she says,

“If you are interested in me either way, please be sure to watch what happens on fight day. I will put on a great performance whether I win or lose.”

To Ham Seo-Hee, Park has words that are both complimentary and inciting,

“Champion Ham, I'm sure you have prepared a lot. In this fight, please show me the skills of your prime. I'm curious. And even if you lose to me, please don't retire. I'm your fan!”
