Kang Jin-Hee has been active in combat sports since elementary school. She's learned Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Kendo, and she even won the Aikido National Convention and Seoul City competitions. As a student of ROAD FC Lightweight Champion Kwon A-Sol, she gained the nickname 'Female Kwon A-Sol' for her tenacity and dedication to learning MMA.

Jin-Hee's dedication truly is all-encompassing. She stays in the gym morning to night, and finds it difficult to sleep when she's working on new techniques. She doesn't fluctuate in weight, rather prefers to stay diligently close to her fight weight for optimal performance.

Jin-Hee believes she was made for MMA. She thinks her jaw is made of titanium. She says, “Even if I fight big fighters in the women 's division, I will never get enough of getting a KO. KOs aren't only for heavyweight men!” While she is as strong as some of her male training partners, she knows that her MMA sense and comprehension aren't at the same level yet.

Although her nickname is “Female Kwon A-Sol”, she thinks her style is different than his. Jin-Hee wants to aggressively go forward, and if she gets hit, she will keep going in. She's been preparing a lot for clinch because that was her weak spot in the last fight, but still she expects that the KO will be her final victory. And she's hoping to prove it in a big way over her rematch opponent Raika Emiko, the most decorated female boxer in Japan.

In fact, Kwon A-Sol thinks her 'female' nickname is not suitable, that she's more appropriate for Yoshiko's notoriety. He says Jin-Hee's shown a good image to the public, but is actually more vicious than he is. “She's a bad guy,” Kwon says, “She will overwhelm you, and if she gets close, she hits you hard.”

Kwon A-Sol's encouragement to Jin-Hee:

“It's not easy to train with male athletes. You're strong and you can do it. Because the competition is short, I want everything to go revolve around the match for you; think about the patterns of life, eating and resting in accordance with this competition. Focus.”
