Xiaomi ROAD FC 033 adds Shinji Sasaki vs Bruno Miranda, 3 other bouts

ROAD Fighting Championship is excited to announce additional matches for Xiaomi ROAD FC 033 on 24 September, 2016. The Openweight Tournament Championship Final between Choi Hong-Man and Mighty Mo will be the Main Event. Several previously announced matches will now take place on Xiaomi ROAD FC 034 in China, and four more matches have been added to this event.

Shinji Sasaki (16-9-3, Burst) and Bruno Miranda (8-1, Tiger Muay Thai) are both 3-0 in ROAD FC and rank at the top of the Lightweight division. Sasaki is considered one of Japan's best grapplers in MMA, but his 40 second KO of Park Won-Sik proved he's just as dangerous standing. Miranda is one of the best strikers in Asia right now, but his quick choke of Jung Doo-Je reminded fans he's not one-dimensional. These two amazing fighters will finally face one another, with the winner likely to get the next Lightweight title shot.

Park “Parky” Won-Sik (12-6-1, Team MAD Ulsan) will return again at lightweight against Japan's rising Ukyo Abe (6-4-1, Oota Doko). In 2016, Parky came back to fighting after recovery from a potential career-ending neck injury, but suffered loss to Sasaki in his comeback fight. After a rebound victory, he's ready for the cage again. Ukyo will be making his foreign debut and first time in the ROAD FC cage. He's a fast finisher with a very bright future; facing the veteran in Parky will be his toughest test to date.

Fan favorite Nandin Erdene “Oka” (3-2, Team Fighter) versus amateur Central League champ Ki Won-Bin (4-1, Team Posse) is a match that will cause an uproar in the stadium. Both of these fighters come loaded with rockets for fists and leave everything in the cage. This match is sure to be an instant classic!

The opening fight for Xiaomi ROAD FC 033 will be a middleweight slugfest as Kim Nae-Chul (5-3, Team Posse) and “Special Force” Park Jung-Kyo (6-6, Park Jung-Kyo Black Camp) break back into the cage after a year.

The first Openweight Tournament is coming to a close with K-1 champ "Mighty Mo" Siliga versus K-1 and PRIDE veteran Choi Hong-Man.

In the co-Main Event, fan favorites Hong Young-Ki and Uesako Hiroto will meet at Featherweight. Hong is a Master of Taekwondo who became famous through competing in the reality TV show "Crying Fist" which launched his MMA career. Hiroto was selected as a hot prospect for "Road to UFC: Japan" but unfortunately suffered an injury in the first sparring session.

Plus, two of the hottest bantamweights in Asia face off when top Korean prospect Kim Min-Woo takes on Shooto Pacific Rim Champion Yuta Nezu.

In a women's -54kg catchweight match China's Lin Heqin will face South Korea's Kim Hae-In in a bout that will pit rivaling countries in their homegrown sports of Sanda and Taekwondo.

All fights for the ROAD FC undercard Young Guns 29 will be released shortly.
