CEO Jung Mun-Hong announces his resignation

2017-11-29 13:00

On November 29, 2017, ROAD FC Founder and CEO Jung Mun-Hong suddenly announced his resignation on his Instagram and Facebook accounts. An official statement is forthcoming.

Below is the English translation of Mr. Jung's personal message.

I leave ROAD FC today. In my life, when my spirit and body were the clearest and healthiest, I devoted all my youth to ROAD, so I have no regrets and no worries.

When I started ROAD, my wish was to make a stage where my students and juniors could fight forever.

I wanted to create a self-sustaining promotion, not a promotion that could fall under the influence of the external environment.

In the past, when mixed martial arts returned to the dark ages, there was no place for my brothers and sisters to go. But now, ROAD has become a global institution that will never collapse and will continue to evolve further.

Lastly, I would like to ask you juniors:

Please protect those who are weaker than yourself.

Please challenge those who are stronger than yourself.

Please keep the values and honor of martial arts.

Thank you.

Jung Mun-Hong
