ROAD Fighting Championship announces a middleweight match between Kuwabara Kiyoshi and Kim Dae-Sung

 

Kuwabara Kiyoshi (10-8, Team Samurai) and Kim Dae-Sung (32, Gwangju Team Crows) will face each other in a middleweight match up. Kuwabara stunned the crowd when he took a last minute stand-in fight against ROAD FC Lightweight Champion Kwon A-Sol and knocked him out in 18 seconds. Kim also impressed with his recent come-from-behind victory when he took a drubbing from China national strongman champ Zhang Jianjun and finished him with a choke.

 

As previously announced to headline Xiaomi ROAD FC 038, two of Asia's best bantamweights will face each other for the ROAD FC Bantamweight title. Korean #1 ranked phenom Kim Soo-Chul and #2 ranked ultra prospect Kim Min-Woo will face each other for the vacant belt. 

 

Also on Xiaomi ROAD FC 038, the China Trials Finals will take place which will see two winners from a field of eight fighters finally seeded in the 16-man opening round of the $1 Million Tournament.

After setting a bench mark of one event almost every month in 2014, ROAD FC embarked on a global expansion plan and held its first ever international event in Tokyo, Japan in 2015. This year will also witness more dramatic growth as ROAD FC will host its first show in China, in the metropolis of Shanghai, on 26 December. ROAD FC is currently negotiating a venue with a capacity of 18,000. 360GAME ROAD FC 027 will be broadcast live in China and internationally across multiple platforms, which ROAD FC CEO Jung revealed included: “China's State-owned broadcaster CCTV, local terrestrial broadcasters, and the internet portal of Tencent, we are scheduled to broadcast.”  Tencent is Asia's largest internet company and competes with the largest internet companies in the world.  Tencent's internet portal QQ.com is one of the largest in China.
