RAMONA PASCUAL VS JIN SEO-WOO

ROAD Fighting Championship announces another women's match for Xiaomi ROAD FC 045 XX in Seoul, South Korea on December 23, 2017. Korean top broadcaster MBC's MMA reality show contestants Ramona Pascual and Jin Seo-Woo will face off.

MBC's “Fearless Guys”

In 2017, ROAD FC signed a new broadcast agreement with South Korea's most prominent network, MBC. MBC then launched a new weekly reality television show called “Fearless Guys” on November 11th. Prospects who want to become MMA fighters in ROAD FC were selected from hundreds of applicants to participate in trials, game, and tests on the show. Many Korean celebrities and ROAD FC fighters are featured in the cast, including supermodel Han Hye-Jin, comedians Jeong Jun-Ha and Yoon Hyung-Bin, “Super Junior” K-Pop idol Leeteuk, ROAD FC Founder Jung Mun-Hong, ROAD FC Lightweight Champion Kwon A-Sol, “Kung Fu Panda” Aorigele, and Kwon Min-Seok who recently succeeded Kwon A-Sol in the second season of the reality show “Society Game”.

Ramona Pascual vs Jin Seo-Woo

“Fearless Guys” is still ongoing, however, the competition has indeed been tough. Two women made it into the show, Hong Kong's Ramona Pascual and South Korea's Jin Seo-Woo. While they are both now eliminated from the finals, Jin was able to make it to the top 3.

Ramona Pascual (2-2, independent) has a base in kickboxing, then she took up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to transition to MMA. After going 2-2, she dedicated herself to full-time MMA training in Korea, and the timing was perfect – she happened to audition and be selected for “Fearless Guys”. On the show, Pascual showed off her strength and brutality, especially in a sparring session against ROAD FC Bantamweight Champion Kim Soo-Chul.

Jin Seo-Woo (debut, Ssabi MMA) has a record of 4-1 in kickboxing before deciding to make the transition to MMA. In “Fearless Guys”, she excelled, showing off striking technique and power that were above others in her weight class. Jin already exhibits a very well-rounded game developed at Ssabi and her professional debut is expected to be impressive.

Pascual and Jin have rapidly gained fame in South Korea through being on “Fearless Guys”, but now is their time to do what they truly want: deliver a stunning performance in professional MMA.
