'CRYING FIST' VS 'FEARLESS GUYS' SHOWDOWN

ROAD Fighting Championship announces a showdown of the reality show stars for Xiaomi ROAD FC 046 at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul, South Korea on March 10, 2018. Fighters from the programs “Crying Fist” and “Fearless Guys” will face each other in the ROAD FC cage.

“Crying Fist”' started in 2011 on SuperAction. Four regular series and one spin-off were broadcast until 2014. Every day people from the general public who dreamed of becoming pro fighters sought to get on the show to compete for a shot in ROAD FC.

Many notable fighters got their start through their participation on “Crying Fist”, such as “Keyboard Warrior” Kim Seung-Yeon, “Taekwondo Fighter” Hong Young-Ki, Kwon Min-Suk, Park Hyung-Geun, “Citizen Hero” Kim Hyung-Soo, “Monster Wrestler” Shim Gun-Oh, and “Yakuza” Kim Jae-Hoon.

“Fearless Guys” was the first terrestrial broadcast MMA reality show ever held on MBC, starting last year. A total of 4,000 people applied to compete. Beyond the primary audition, it gave competitors the real feeling of the challenging lifestyle a professional fighter leads.

On March 10th, at Xiaomi ROAD FC 046, selected contestants from “Crying Fist” and “Fearless Guys” will face each other in professional MMA bouts. The fighters and the match ups will be announced shortly.

Openweight Championship

The main event will be Openweight Champion Mighty Mo defending his belt against former tournament adversary Myung Hyun-Man. Myung is Mo's only adversary to make it into the third round with him in the last 4 years. Fans can surely expect a war!

$1 Million Lightweight Tournament Semifinals

The four fighters in the semifinals for the $1 Million Tournament represent the best lightweights from across the globe. They are all ranked at the top in their country, and have held titles in highly respected promotions such as M-1, Shooto Brazil, and BAMMA. All have fought at least four matches to get to this point, and combined, they've accrued a tally of 126 professional MMA fights.

Ronys Torres versus Shamil Zavurov is a contrast in grappling styles between the best lightweights from Brazil and Russia in this semifinals match. Torres likes to show off his superb technique to get the finish, while Zavurov is willing to grind his opponents down round after round.

Shimoishi Kota versus Mansour Barnaoui will two very different approaches to showcase power, timing and technique in their semifinals match. Shimoishi quickly engages to get the fight to the ground, while Barnaoui looks for the opening to finish in any position, standing or grappling.

Kim Nae-Chul returns against 2017 standout rookie Hwang In-Su, so expect fireworks when these two fast and accurate strikers engage.
