For release on January 15, 2019 - ROAD Fighting Championship announces the opening of ROAD FC 052 which will take place February 23, 2019 in Seoul, South Korea. The final match for the ROAD FC $1 Million Tournament will be the main event.

 


 

 

At lightweight, fan favorite Bruno Miranda (11-3, Tiger Muay Thai) returns to face Taekwondo Master Hong Young-Ki (5-4, Road Gym). Miranda is coming off two wins: a TKO of Ki Won-Bin and a brutal beat down of sanda champion Baoshe Riguleng. Hong is also coming in with back to back wins over Eon Tae-Woong via surprising armbar and a decision victory against Koji Nakamura. These strikers with grappling ability are both on the upswing, so expect to see a thrilling show of Miranda's vicious Muay Thai against Hong's brilliant Taekwondo.

After setting a bench mark of one event almost every month in 2014, ROAD FC embarked on a global expansion plan and held its first ever international event in Tokyo, Japan in 2015. This year will also witness more dramatic growth as ROAD FC will host its first show in China, in the metropolis of Shanghai, on 26 December. ROAD FC is currently negotiating a venue with a capacity of 18,000. 360GAME ROAD FC 027 will be broadcast live in China and internationally across multiple platforms, which ROAD FC CEO Jung revealed included: “China's State-owned broadcaster CCTV, local terrestrial broadcasters, and the internet portal of Tencent, we are scheduled to broadcast.”  Tencent is Asia's largest internet company and competes with the largest internet companies in the world.  Tencent's internet portal QQ.com is one of the largest in China.
