ROAD FC 032 complete with 10 bouts

2016-06-07 06:00

Xiaomi ROAD FC 032 is complete with ten bouts, including Albert Cheng vs Lee Hyeung-Seok, Hou Zhenlin vs Gwak Byeong-In.

Xiaomi ROAD FC 032 will take place this coming 2 July, 2016 at the 20,000-capacity Hunan International Conference and Convention Center in Changsha, Hunan, China. The entire card is now open, comprising a total of ten bouts.

Albert Cheng vs Lee Hyeung-Seok

Albert Cheng (7-3, Evolucao Thai) of UFC TUF China fame will make an historic trip to fight in his family's home of Changsha for the first time. Cheng is on a 5-fight win streak which culminated in his recent ROAD FC debut in an impressive dominating performance over Yuki Ishihara. Cheng will next meet a Korean notable in Lee Hyeung-Seok.

Lee Hyeung-Seok (11-7, Team Hon) is a ten-year veteran of MMA and a stalwart of ROAD FC. Injuries kept him sidelined since mid-2014, but he is fully recovered and ready to get back in the cage. Lee was on a 4-fight win streak before he lost to Shooto warhorse Koji Takeuchi, so he is more than just hungry to return to the leader board.

Albert Cheng will have his family, the city of Changsha, and all of China on his side when he faces a primed and ready to return to action Lee Hyeung-Seok, which should make for a brilliant show!

Hou Zhenlin vs Gwak Byeong-In

A Heavyweight match will launch Part 2, as Hou Zhenlin (4-1, An Shan Quan Hui Ju Le) meets Gwak Byeong-In (5-6, Mr Kickboxer). Hou is a state champion wrestler who made it to the China National Team. His impressive rise in MMA has the attention of China fans. Gwak will be recognizable as a ROAD FC referee, but he comes from the first generation of Korean MMA fighters, and possesses a very strong kickboxing base. Now Gwak has caught the fever of the cage and wants to challenge himself against a young and imposing Hou.

Style versus style will make this a very interesting match between the big men, as Hou Zhenlin will bring his wrestling and ground and pound to the well-rounded, experienced striker Gwak Byeong-In!

Xiaomi ROAD FC 032 Part 1

An exciting battle of young Flyweight prospects will be China's Liu Xiaoyan (2-2, Xi'an Sports University) versus Japan's Asakura Kai (4-0, RINGS). Liu's sanda base means he likes to engage quickly, which makes for a hot style of action. Asakura won The Outsiders 60kg Championship as an amateur before continuing his winning streak as a pro. The high rate of first round endings for both of these fighters means that fans can expect a rapidfire battle of strikers!

At Bantamweight, consummate underdog and UFC TUF China participant He Jianwei (0-4, HJW MMA Team) will face Jang Dae-Young (2-1, Von Jiu Jitsu). It's an unusual contrast in styles, as He tries to finish on the ground, whereas Jang has a BJJ base but loves to strike. This match could showcase some nice grappling, but stakes will be high as He needs to climb out of his losing streak on home turf, and Jang wants to work his way into title contention.

Opening up Xiaomi ROAD FC 032 will be a striker's delight Featherweight bout between Huang Zhenyue (2-1, Guangdong Rong Yue Bo Ji Le Bu) and Oh Du-Seok (0-1, Team Thai Hone). Huang hails from the same camp as creative striker Yang Junkai and is already proving his transition to MMA as a success. Oh may have lost his first MMA match to a flash KO by Huang's teammate Yang, but as a Muay Thai Champion, he will be out to prove that it was pure luck.

Xiaomi ROAD FC 032 Part 2

The Main Event for Xiaomi ROAD FC 032 will be “China's Heavyweight Supernova” Aorigele versus Bob “The Beast” Sapp in an Openweight showdown. Plus, two of Asia's most remarkable fighters will finally face one another when China's hot international fighter Jumabieke Tuerxun meets Asia's dominant bantamweight Kim Soo-Chul at Featherweight in a battle with historical implications!

New Wave MMA ROAD FC is the stage where legends shine, rookies thrill, and epic battles are waged that determine the future of MMA. From the pageantry of the grand entrance to the final crunch of the KO, ROAD FC showcases the very best of Mixed Martial Arts sports and entertainment. As we say in Korea, "Fighting!"
