XIAOMI ROAD FC 043 ANNOUNCEMENT

FINAL MAIN CARD FIGHTS ANNOUNCED

ROAD Fighting Championship announces the final main card matches for Xiaomi ROAD FC 043 in Seoul, Korea on October 28, 2017 in the Jangchung Arena.

Marcio Cesar replaces Kim Se-Young vs Lee Jeong-Yeoung

Lee Jeong-Yeong was originally slated to face Kim Se-Young in a rematch to settle any doubts, but unfortunately Kim has been injured in training and will be unable to recover in time. Stepping up in his place is Marcio Cesar (18-9-3, AKA Thailand), Brazilian Jiujitsu black belt and coach at AKA who is taking the fight after a 3-year hiatus from MMA. Cesar fought in multiple Brazil promotions since 2005, facing many rising stars, and continued his career in Russia, Finland and most recently in Japan's Pancrase.

This match will be the toughest of Lee Jeong-Yeong's life as he faces a returning veteran with supreme ground skills in Marcio Cesar!

Kim Kyeong-Pyo vs Arman Tsarukyan

Kim Kyeong-Pyo (6-1, MMA Story) is a well-rounded up-and-comer from the team with two champions, MMA Story. Under Coach Cha Jung-Hwan, he's transitioned from the ROAD FC amateur leagues through ROAD FC Young Guns and Japanese events, with his only loss being a razor thin split decision to Park Dae-Sung.

Arman Tsarukyan (8-1, MFP) is a surging 20-year old riding a 7-fight win streak of all finishes that includes submitting Gustavo Wurlitzer and Marcio Breno. He's a ground fighter who puts on tons of pressure to get the fight where he wants it.

Kim Kyeong-Pyo versus Arman Tsarukyan is going to be a battle between two of the hottest prospects from Korea and Russia.

Xiaomi ROAD FC 043

In the main event, Choi Young versus Kim Hoon for the ROAD FC Interim Middleweight Championship is the culmination of Korean MMA pride from the very beginning to the current pinnacle of popularity and skill. This match is guaranteed to deliver thrills from both fighters - 12 years after they both first stepped foot in an MMA ring!

Also, former ROAD FC Bantamweight Champion Lee Kil-Woo returns after hiatus from the cage to face The Outsider Champion Asakura Mikuru at featherweight. And another former ROAD FC Champion, Nam Yui-Chul, will face fellow Korea MMA warhorse Jung Doo-Jae. Plus, Kim Seung-Yeon and Alexander Merezhko are set for another $1 Million Tournament reserve match.
